Dine Out Fairfield! to Premiere February 27 – March 5

Fairfield, CT -- In response to popular demand, the Town of Fairfield will sponsor a mid-winter restaurant week called Dine Out Fairfield! during the week of February 27 through March 5, 2017.

More than 30 restaurants are expected to participate in this week-long event with special prix fixe lunch and dinner menus showcasing their finest culinary offerings.

Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau said, “Fairfield is pleased to sponsor Dine Out Fairfield! to help celebrate Fairfield’s vibrant restaurant scene and its many quality restaurants. Fairfield Restaurant Week, held each fall and now in its 6th year, has been a tremendous success, and has quickly become an annual tradition. We have heard both from the public and from restaurants that Fairfield should offer Restaurant Week more than once a year, and we’re happy to oblige.” 

Fairfield Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart, who will plan this event, added, “One week didn’t seem like enough. Dine Out Fairfield! will give the public an opportunity to get out and visit old favorites or try someplace new. This week-long event is another way that the Town can show its support for our local businesses, help our local economy and provide people with an enjoyable dining out experience.”
