Sunrise Rotary Gala Holiday Wine Tasting, Dec. 1

Westport, CT - Westport Uncorked. New date, same great venue, more wines. The Inn at Longshore. Friday, December 1, 6:30 - 9:30 pm. It’s the 27th Annual Wine Tasting, the Holiday Gala, the start of your holiday season.

Join Sunrise Rotary. Sample from among 72 wines — maybe more — along with 12 area brewed craft beers, all carefully selected by Liquor Locker’s Cory D’Addario.

Enjoy the wines, chat with friends. Help Sunrise Rotary support its 30 area and international non-profit organizations — from Homes With Hope in Westport to Greater Bridgeport Literacy Volunteers to Tree of Life Orphanage in Haiti.

Buy your ticket online at http://westportsunriserotary.org, for $75, with your payment going to a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Ms. D’Addario’s wine choices run to the artisanals — beautiful, though often not well known labels, “sustainable, organic, biodynamic, and fair trade” wines from smaller vineyards, all tasting above their price.

You’ll see wines from around the world. Some great values — wine need not be expensive to be enjoyable — along with some truly distinctive labels for gifting, or for your holiday table.

All items will be available for purchase at case discounts of ten percent.

Wines will be presented courtesy of 14 of Connecticut’s finest distributors. Their representatives and Liquor Locker’s staff will happily answer your questions. Find a wine you like, ask what to pair it with.

OnTheMarc Events will offer seasonal hors d’oeuvres, crudités, cheese and crackers, and a selection of fruit tartlets and sweets to accompany the wines and beers.

And Sunrise Rotary thanks Miggs Burroughs for his eye catching new logo and Baker Graphics for its truly responsive graphics and production support.

Rotary International is a global organization of over 1.2 million people in 35,000 clubs, all committed to Service Above Self.
