Pequot Library Invites Kids to Make Chocolate V-Day Treats, Feb. 13

Southport, CT – Every February 14 across the United States, candy and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of Saint Valentine. Charles M. Schulz, the American cartoonist best known for the comic strip Peanuts, said, "All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt." If your child is interested in spreading a little bit of kindness and love this Valentine’s Day, register for Pequot Library’s Kids’ Candymaking Workshop held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

This popular Pequot tradition celebrates its 13th year. Children can make professional-looking chocolate treats complete with a gift box and card for Valentine's Day! This fun and festive workshop is for grades K-8. (Parental help required for grades K-4.) There is a $5 materials fee per child. Registration is required online at https://tinyurl.com/ybvypzu3.
