A Night at the Museum with WHS, March 1

Westport, CT - What happens when the lights go out at Wheeler House? Only the night watchman knows…or does he? Once the sun goes down on Thursday, March 1, you can learn about the after-dark doings at one of downtown Westport’s beloved historic landmarks from 6:30 to 8pm.

The Westport Historical Society is hosting its first-ever Night at the Museum! See how Victorian Westporters spent their evening hours playing antique games like Nine Man’s Morris from the 18th century, singing along to historic tunes and listening to gripping tales told by costumed docents. Guests are encouraged to step back in time by coming in costume and competing for a prize for best dressed!

A Night At the Museum, Thursday, March 1, 6:30 – 8pm. Westport Historical Society, 25 Avery Place across from Town Hall. Suggested Admission, $10, $25 family maximum. Refreshments served. For more information and to register online, go to westporthistory.org or call 203-222-1424.
