Talk on Wise Water Use at Fairfield Woods Branch Library, April 24

Fairfield, Conn. - In 2016, southwestern Connecticut experienced the fifth worst drought since 1895. Twig Holland of the Aquarion Water Company visits with an informative presentation on the recent drought, supply conditions, and the wise use of water going forward. Learn about newly-enacted irrigation restrictions and water efficiencies that can easily and inexpensively be implemented at your home or business. Join us on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:00 pm at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road. Registration is requested.

Presenter Twig Holland, former director of purchasing for the Town of Fairfield, is the public information coordinator for the Aquarion Water Company. She is working to bring drought information programs to schools and community groups in southwestern Connecticut to raise awareness.
