Children's Choir To Celebrate Spring In Concert, May 12

Fairfield County, CT - The Fairfield County Children’s Choir will welcome spring on Saturday, May 12, with its “Imagine the Song” concert at the Klein Memorial Auditorium. Celebrated choral composer, conductor, and music educator Nick Page will be a special guest for the Fairfield County Children’s Choir (FCCC) 23rd annual spring concert when the choir premieres a new piece that was written by Page for this performance, and is dedicated to Mother’s Day. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

Nick Page is known to add humor and wit to choral performances, and to bring the sounds and rhythms of music from around the world to appreciative audiences. His music will be featured throughout the concert including a composition that is a special tribute to mothers to be premiered during a sing-along. Other special guests include FCCC alumni.

The Fairfield County Children’s Choir (FCCC) is a community-based choral program made up of 300 children in grades four through twelve from communities in and around Fairfield County.
