Participating shops in downtown Fairfield will stay open late and will offer patrons complimentary hors d’oeuvres and seasonal refreshments from 5 pm to 9 pm. Several downtown restaurants will also be offering drink and small bite specials throughout the evening.
The Old Post Tavern is serving up $5 flatbread pizza and $6 Post Road Punch while 55 Wine Bar & Wood Grille is offering shoppers a special festive drink cocktail between 6-9PM. At Shearwater Coffee Roasters, located within the Brickwalk Promenade, shoppers can enjoy a free dessert with the purchase of any coffee, espresso or cold brew. Elsewhere, Flipside Burgers & Bar and the Bodega Taco Bar are offering extended happy hour specials. For book lovers, the Fairfield University Bookstore is hosting Fairfield native and NASA Engineer Ann Micklos who will share details of the new book, Bringing Columbia Home, the definitive insider’s account and inspirational story of the Columbia shuttle disaster, investigation and recovery. The program will begin at 7PM on the 2nd floor of the Fairfield University Bookstore.
