Reveries Popup Gallery Charity Event for Project Return

Westport, CT - A Reveries Popup Gallery Charity Event for Project Return will open at 153 Post Road East, Westport, with a reception on May 24, 6-8pm. The featured artwork will be on display through June 3. 

Art show directors and artists Amy Kaplan and Trace Burroughs are producing this second pop-up gallery art gallery in the heart of Westport. A portion of sales from “Reveries” will be donated to Project Return in Westport. Come for the party, and view and buy some art from this new group of 15 exceptional local artists. 

Food, wine and music reception Thursday May 24, 6-8 pm. 

GALLERY OPEN: Thursday May 24- Sunday June 3rd

GALLERY HOURS: Thursday - Saturday 1-7pm. Sunday 1-5pm.

Project Return empowers young women in crisis to rebuild their lives by providing a safe, secure, and structured environment where they learn life skills, heal family relationships, and strengthen other life-long connections needed for healthy independent living.

Trace and Amy hope to reconnect the community and energize the downtown Westport environment through art. Westport has a rich history of arts, culture and engagement. 

The fifteen artists exhibiting works in the gallery will be Amy Kaplan, Trace Burroughs, Heidi Lewis Coleman, Noah Steinman, Liz Leggett, Dan Long, Katherine Ross, Lisa Silberman, Charles Douthat, Julie Leff, Scott Glaser, Melissa Newman, Holly Hawthorne, Erich Davis and Diane Pollack.

Music provided by talented singer guitarist Steven Gilbert. His influences include George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, Bob Dylan, Mark Knopfler, Josh White, Wes Montgomery, Doc Watson, Eric Clapton and Richard Thompson.
