Pequot Library Presents Crafty Crimes Program 6/5-8/28

 

Southport, CT - Love a good mystery? Working on a special project? Join other crime and craft enthusiasts at Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Avenue, and listen to Crime Classics, the classic radio show from the 1950s. Each week enjoy one or two episodes of true crime tales while working on your own DIY craft project. Can you solve each baffling case?

Crime Classics debuted on CBS radio on September 30, 1953 and was described as “a neat little series of ‘true crime stories’.” The show was hosted by the fictional Mr. Thomas Hyland – “connoisseur of crime, student of violence, and teller of murders,” played by radio personality Lou Merrill.

Free and open to the public. Light refreshments served.
