The celebration in Fairfield will feature musicians of all different genres in many locations around town—from Saugatuck Sweets to the Pequot Library. As part of the mission to make music accessible to all, Make Music Day is completely free for all attendees.
The festivities will begin at the Fairfield University Bookstore in downtown Fairfield at 11:00 am with a performance by singer/songwriter Melissa Wasserman. Beginning at 4 pm, the Fairfield Theatre Company will be hosting a battle of the bands style music festival at the Warehouse and in the FTC parking lot in downtown Fairfield.
