Fairfield, Conn. - As part of the Fairfield Public Library’s Small Business Strategies series, SCORE will be presenting two programs at the Library this July – “Form 990: Tips and Recommendations for Non-Profits” on Thursday, July 12 and “Valuation of a Business” on Thursday, July 26.
The Form 990 is an important tool for nonprofits. Since every Form 990 is available to the public, it is important to make sure your organization is presenting its information in a positive light to potential donors, volunteers, and the IRS. In “Valuation of a Business”, valuation experts will lead a discussion on the importance of knowing the value of your business on an ongoing basis. Knowing how to value your business and how to create value are key factors in achieving near and long-term growth and other business objectives. Both of these talks meet at 6:30 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.
All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information about these and other programs, visit us online at: fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160. Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter @fairfieldpublib and Facebook @fairfieldlibrary.
