Have you ever looked at a pond up close? There’s a multitude of living creatures that call it home. Join the Connecticut Audubon Society in Fairfield for an expedition in search of pond creatures that swim, soar, slide and crawl! We provide the buckets and nets, and you provide the boots and a zest for adventure.

On a guided walk in the Center at Fairfield’s Larsen Sanctuary, the group will look for tadpoles, frogs, insects, turtles and other creatures that live in the wetland habitat of Farm Pond. It’s a great place to observe nature in a setting that attracts so many kinds of wildlife. Plan on getting your feet wet!

The program runs from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street. This family event is good for ages 3 and up (no strollers please). Be sure to wear boots. CAS members $5, non-members $8. Pre-registration required. Call 203-259-6305 x.109, or visit:https://www.ctaudubon.org/fairfield-home/.
