Cox Student Center at the University of Bridgeport 244 University in Bridgeport, CT.

THE MUSIC MAN follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize – this despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who aims to transform him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.

The all-local production staff includes Direction by Christy-McIntosh-Newsom, Music Direction by Eli Newsom, Choreography by Madeleine Tommins, Scenic Design by Matt Pretka, Costume Design by Jessica Camarero, Lighting Design by Don Rowe, and Sound Design by Eli Newsom, with Lauren Linn serving as Production Stage Manager and Chelsea Dacey serving as Parent Liaison.
