Small Business Strategies Program at Fairfield Library

Fairfield, Conn. - Marketing for local businesses has never been more ubiquitous and accessible than it is now. But with a growing amount of choices, many owners don’t know where to begin. Putting together effective marketing campaigns starts with understanding your market and the new ways that consumers make decisions. Marketing experts Richard Campanaro and Justin Laquercia will talk about: how to determine what marketing channels to leverage for your business; how marketing and customer behavior have evolved; and why traditional media is still relevant in the digital age. We will meet on Wednesday, September 26 at 6:30 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

Richard Campanaro has over 26 years of experience in marketing, sales, and digital media; with expertise in business development and brand management. Over the course of his career he has worked for the largest and most influential digital media companies in the U.S. including: Hearst, Advance Digital (Condé Nast), and Dex/YP. He is currently the SVP of Digital Sales & Operations at Hearst Digital Media where he oversees digital strategy and revenue nationally.

Justin Laquercia holds an MBA in marketing from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Over the last seven years he has worked internationally in sales, digital and event marketing within the ad-tech and media spaces. Before rejoining Hearst Digital, where he is responsible for digital marketing strategy and business development, he managed the tri-state partner programs for Constant Contact and then later Signpost, an A.I. tech startup based in New York City.

This program is presented through a joint partnership with the Library and Fairfield County SCORE.
