Enjoy Seasonal Fun at Pequot Library's Annual Pet Parade, Oct. 27

Southport, CT – Pets and their owners are invited to don costumes and participate in a "spooktacular" afternoon at Pequot Library when the landmark venue presents its annual Halloween Pet Parade! The fun time is set for Saturday, October 27, from 2 - 3:30 p.m. March behind the Southport Volunteer fire truck from the Five Corners in downtown Southport Village to Pequot Library’s Great Lawn. By the way, you don't need a pet to participate.

The parade kicks off at 2pm sharp, but the public can visit the Southport Fire Station Open House from 10am-3pm. Following the parade, enjoy ghoulish games and creepy crafts on the Great Lawn. Mary Ann Hall’s Music for Children will provide the entertainment. Prizes for Best Pet Costume and Best People Costume will be awarded. All pets receive treats.

No registration is required. This seasonal fun event is free and open to the public. It cancels in case of stormy weather. Free refreshments will be sponsored by Fairfield Veterinary Hospital.
