Bridgeport, CT - AmFab Arts has announced Open Studios 2018, scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2018 – 10 AM – 5 PM; and Sunday, November 11, 2018 – 10 AM – 5 PM, at its homebase, the American Fabric Arts Building, 1069 Connecticut Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
For over 12 years, American Fabrics Arts Building, known as AmFab Arts, has opened its doors to the public to CONNECT & COLLECT artists’ work! You are invited to tour the studio space of more than 25 practicing artists during Open Studios weekend on November 10th and 11th. The artists who work in the former textile factory practice a variety of art forms. You will meet painters, sculptors, bookmakers, quilt makers printmakers, ceramic artists, photographers, and more. Come and see what you’ll discover! Meet the artists and tour their studios! Purchase art, home decor, jewelry, accessories, and other hand made items, directly from the artists. Enjoy live local musicians, art demonstrations, food trucks and WPKN spinning! Always a festive Fall art adventure! Enter the annual Art Raffle for a chance to win a handcrafted art piece donated by the artists of AmFab. All proceeds benefit the Bridgeport Rescue Mission, which helps the hungry, homeless and fights addiction in Fairfield County. $5 per raffle ticket.
