Award-Winning Sportswriter Ian O'Connor to Headline Celebrity Breakfast for Wakeman Boys & Girls Club

Southport, CT - Wakeman Boys & Girls Club’s 18th Annual Celebrity Breakfast Fundraiser presented by Safety Marking will take place on Tuesday, November 13, at Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. The event will run from 7-9AM and feature an interview of ESPN.com columnist Ian O’Connor by fellow sportswriter Armen Keteyian.

Guests in attendance will hear Ian O’Connor speak about his career in sports writing and about his new book, Belichick: The Making of the Greatest Football Coach of All Time. Emmy-winning news correspondent and author Armen Keteyian will also join O’Connor on stage as both give insights into other sports’ legends that have been the topics of their collective New York Times Bestsellers.

The event will feature a light breakfast buffet, followed by open seating in the Kelley Theatre. Each attendee will receive a copy of Ian O'Connor's new book Belichick: The Making of the Greatest Football Coach of All Time. General admission tickets can be obtained with a donation of $250, and students under the age of 21 can purchase a ticket at a special rate of $25.
