Westport, CT - The Westport Historical Society invites locals to its 25 Avery Place home on March 28, 6-7pm, to hear Members read interesting historical documents aloud and to share your own stories, poems, historic essays and music with the group. Both original works and pre-selected pieces from history will be presented. At this month’s gathering, Members will share arguments both for and against women’s suffrage. Actors Kimberly Wilson and Greg Poretta are featured. Light refreshments will be served.
Online pre-registration $8 for members, $12 for non-members. At the door $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Students $5 with ID. No charge for children 5 and under. Reservations are recommended, register online at westporthistory.org or call (203) 222-1424 x5.
