CT Audubon Fairfield Hosts Boy Scout Badge Day, April 6

Fairfield, CT - The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, will host a Boy Scout Badge Day Bonanza on Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (scheduled times vary by badge).

$10 per scout, per badge

Attention all Boy Scouts, Tigers, Bears, Wolves and Webelos! Don’t miss this great opportunity to earn a new badge….or two! Join Connecticut Audubon Society’s teacher/naturalists as they lead scouts through the diverse habitats of the Connecticut Audubon Society’s beautiful Fairfield Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary, all while satisfying badge requirements.

The badges to be worked on are: Boy Scout – “Bird Study;” Webelos – “Into the Wild” and “Into the Woods;” Bear – “Fur, Feathers and Ferns;” Tiger – “Tiger in the Wild;” and Wolf – “Wolf Adventure: Paws on the Path.” Be sure to dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and insect repellent.
