Fairfield, CT - At the Sherman Green gazebo in Fairfield on Saturday, May 18, from 9am-1pm, the Greens Farms Garden Club is hosting its annual plant sale, featuring locally grown perennials, annual flowering plants -- and some surprises. The Club's experienced members will be on hand to provide expert garden advice and answer questions. Soon to be ninety years old, the Club has members in several towns in Fairfield County. This year, the sale will get a little help from one of its member’s Girl Scout troop as well.
It’s a fun community event, with profits also going to community organizations such as Earthplace, STAR and other local non-profit groups, including those that promote care for the environment. It is predicted to be a lovely day (imagine that!)!
