"Walk the Walk" Night at Brick Walk, May 21, 5-10pm

Fairfield, CT: The address reads 1125-1305 Post Road, but Fairfield County has come to know this charming Fairfield neighborhood of restaurants, shops, and services simply as the “Brick Walk”. Under the management of Kleban Properties LLC the Brick Walk has established itself as a premier lifestyle destination in downtown Fairfield.

Kleban Properties (est.1978) developed the Brick Walk shopping promenade in 2009 during the recession, adopting a “live, work, play” business model, which continues to drive many of their developments within their portfolio today.

Whether it’s bringing the Fairfield University bookstore off campus and into the center of town, or the numerous restaurants and the excitement they generate, the idea that everyone can benefit from progress is what drives this forward thinking company. Additional Fairfield developments include several shopping plazas throughout the Black Rock Turnpike neighborhood, a venture which was the first to see high-profile retailers such as The Gap and Old Navy take notice of this up and coming New York City suburb.

Kleban Properties is managed by Al Kleban, his son Ken, grandchildren Evan and Bailey, and a dedicated staff located at the Brick Walk complex. The Klebans take great pride in the ownership of their properties and continue on a creative path for further development of Fairfield Center. They have invested substantial sums during the recession to create what is now an exciting area for all of the community to enjoy. In others states where they own property, they have selected areas adjacent to or nearby universities and are presently developing such sites in Alabama and Mississippi.

The economic realities of the day demands, and in their opinion, require the most creative approach to combat the new realities of the economic climate. Fairfield is fortunate to have two universities, Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University fully entrenched in the creative thoughts of the Klebans as they move forward.

In 2014, with numerous projects on the horizon, Kleban Properties established a joint venture partnership with Regency Centers Corp. for the Brick Walk and other Fairfield locations. Kleban Properties is credited with contributing to the increase of local real estate values, employment opportunities, and both consumer and commercial awareness of a town they hold dear and are fully vested in. Kleban Properties (and Regency-Kleban centers) are among the highest taxpayers in Fairfield and continues to be an active participant in the town’s Economic Development planning. The community can look forward to more exciting news from this local developer soon.

This Tuesday, May 21, from 5-10pm, Kleban Properties shines a light on their Brick Walk tenants with Walk the Walk, an open house of sorts, which features delicious offers from an eclectic array of restaurants, product sampling from retailers and artisans, live demonstrations, extended store hours, great sales, and more.
