British Invasion Themed CLASP Fundraiser at FTC, Oct. 18

Fairfield, CT - Join CLASP Homes of Westport for an evening of Stones, Beatles and The British Invasion with Band Central at the Fairfield Theatre Company on Friday, October 18.

Band Central brings together musicians playing for a cause. So join us, support CLASP, and listen and dance to the hits you — or your parents — loved. Return to a time when hair grew unbelievably long and skirts got unimaginably short, when anti-war protests and civil rights sit-ins shaped a generation’s outlook.

You’ll hear an evening of Stones and Beatles, the Who, the Zombies and the Kinks, Cream and Led Zeppelin and many more — the music that kicked sand in the faces of the Beach Boys and sent Elvis to Las Vegas.

Come early, start your pre-concert evening at 6:30 with small bites from the new Forza Ristorante, from Little Pub and other dining spots supporting CLASP’s work, helping its community of men and women with autism and developmental disabilities.

And take a chance on an array of donated gifts — a family photo shoot graciously donated by Jerri Graham Photography, who specializes in capturing the smiles and moments you want forever; dinner for two at the new Gruel Britannia, whose chef Karen Hubrich, whose credits include having been chef at Fairfield County Hunt Club and The New York Times executive dining room; gift certificates for many other local restaurants, and diamond and blue topaz earrings from renowned local jeweler Renato and much, much more!

CLASP offers housing and employment for 85 people in group homes and apartments in Westport and many surrounding communities — and for less than 50 percent of what the state requires to provide similar services. Yet CLASP, like all community service organizations, is increasingly challenged to meet these needs in the face of declining public support.

Come. Enjoy a great band with a big sound in an intimate setting. Support our mission. All funds raised directly support the nonprofit CLASP and our programs.

Tickets are available at https://fairfieldtheatre.org at $50.00 each.
