Southport, CT - In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Pequot Library is proud to showcase several films celebrating Hispanic culture/filmmakers. Bring your own refreshments and enjoy on the Auditorium’s “big screen.”
With gripping imagery, the historical drama "Embrace of the Serpent", shot primarily in black and white, follows an Amazonian shaman and his relationships with two white scientists who both seek a medicinal plant at different points in the shaman’s life. (Not rated. Duration: 2 Hours 3 minutes.). It will be shown Wednesday, September 25, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
