Tuscany Talk at Pequot Library, Nov. 12

Southport, CT - Pequot Library invites you Tuesday, November 12, 7:00-8:30 p.m. to take a panoramic, birdseye look at the miracles of Tuscany’s resources and the historic importance of this famed region of Italy. Examine the cultural prominence of Tuscan products from wine and oil to Cararra marble and Gucci leather, along with Tuscany’s role in World War II. Laced with literary references and book recommendations inspired by Frances Mayes’ Under the Tuscan Sun, enjoy this engaging exploration of Tuscany with esteemed professor Dr. Philip Eliasoph.
