Fairfield Glee Club's "Tis the Season" Holiday Concert, Dec. 6 & 7

Fairfield, CT - Fairfield University’s Glee Club will present its annual holiday concert, “Tis the Season,” on Friday, December 6 at 8 p.m. and on Saturday, December 7 at 2 p.m., at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.

Throughout the evening, the Glee Club will entertain with a variety of songs ranging from upbeat compositions like “Run, Run, Rudolph” to classics such as “Joy to the World” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” The night will also feature the instrumental accompaniments of piano, percussion, and brass.

Also performing will be Sweet Harmony, an all-female ensemble of chamber singers; The Bensonians, an all-male a cappella group; and the Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Carole Ann Maxwell.

Founded in 1947, The Fairfield University Glee Club is the oldest club on the Fairfield University campus. The members share a deep love for music and a common desire to achieve excellence in it. The Glee Club has more than 110 undergraduate and graduate singers. Their voices explore a wide variety of repertoire, to experience diverse styles of music and enrich audiences with programming that challenges and inspires.
