FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Savor the winter beauty of the North Country -- without the long drive! -- at The Connecticut Audubon Society’s annual Adirondack Night celebration in Fairfield. On Saturday, March 7, starting at 6 p.m., the Center at Fairfield on Burr Street will be transformed into a rustic mountain lodge evoking the sights, sounds and flavors of an authentic Adirondack experience. The evening’s festivities last till 9 p.m.—or until the bonfire goes out!
The “Howl at the Moon” theme sets the tone for a fun, casual evening featuring food by Garelick & Herbs, an open bar including selections from Fifth State Distillery, local craft beers from Two Roads Brewing Co, and foot-tapping music by Barnstorm! Weather permitting a cozy outdoor bonfire will add to the ambience under a nearly full moon.
Traditional favorites of the evening will also make their return. In addition to silent, live and online auctions, staff naturalists will introduce resident animal ambassadors from the Center to welcome guests.
