Faxon Law New Haven Road Race Video Contest Sponsored by Alexion

New Haven, CT: As the Faxon Law New Haven Road Race goes virtual, there will be a number of changes to the annual event. This year, the race is including a new contest for all participants, the “Why I Run Faxon Law” video contest, sponsored by Alexion. The race is asking those interested to create a short video explaining why the run the Faxon Law New Haven Road Race, what makes the race special, and why they will participate this year, even as the event goes virtual. Get creative and have fun!

How to Submit your Video:

Post the video on your Instagram or Facebook with the #WHYIRUNFAXONLAW and tag @newhavenroadrace.  Video submissions will be narrowed down to 3-5 finalists by a panel of judges from the New Haven Road Race board.

All finalists' videos will be featured on the race website and the three top winners, chosen by a public vote on social media will receive a gift card from Woodbridge Running Co. First place will be awarded a $150 gift card, second place will receive a $100 gift card and third place will receive a $50 gift card.

Videos must be posted by September 1 to be considered for the contest. Finalists will be announced by September 4 – the beginning of race week. The 2020 Faxon Law New Haven Road Race takes place Labor Day weekend, September 4 – September 7. Participants can register online and run or walk at a time and place of their choosing.

The event is sponsored by Faxon Law Group. Other sponsors include Town Fair Tire, AVANGRID, Alexion, Yale University, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Stop & Shop and New Haven Terminal.
