Pequot Library to Host Virtual Exhibition & Fundraiser, Oct. 26-Nov. 13, "20/20 Visions"

20/20 Visions: Art & Interpretation
Pequot Library’s 23rd Annual Art Show and Fundraiser
Virtual exhibition on view October 26-November 13, 2020

In the spirit of persistence that our community has so gracefully harnessed, Pequot Library is pleased to continue the tradition of celebrating its annual Art Show. While this year’s virtual show will be experienced differently than it has in the past, it will once again showcase some of the region’s most talented artists of all ages. This year, we celebrate artwork that reflects upon and has been executed in 2020.

This is an important fundraiser for Pequot Library, and we very much appreciate the support of artists and art lovers alike. All works of art in the show are for sale! Every item sold at Pequot Library’s Art Show benefits the Library and provides vital funding for our library services, our collections, our exhibitions, and our programs – from storytimes to author talks to virtual programming for students in our community.

If the title of this year’s show is any indication, all eyes will be on these works of art that reflect the artists’ sentiments and interpretations of the tumultuous times of 2020. The celebration of art at Pequot Library won’t change despite the lack of a physical setting. The Pequot Library gallery has never been bigger.

This year’s show, 20/20 Visions: Art & Interpretation, is going to be unprecedented and unbelievable. You’ll see.
