What is Young Life?
Young Life is a global nonprofit that invites kids around the world to find their life purposes in Christ, no matter their response. Young Life has several ministries – YoungLives is the ministry that supports teen moms and their babies. These moms are trying their best, but they are isolated, afraid for the health of their children, and often in dire financial need. Young Life predicts that teen moms will be affected by this pandemic and economic downturn for the next three years.

What is LyfePact?
LyfePact is a special initiative powered by Young Life, aiming to address the needs of a very vulnerable population: teen moms in New York. The program offers teen mothers both a package of basic essentials (diapers, cereal, wipes, etc.) and a direct connection to a personal volunteer mentor.

Each volunteer that elects to join the March 20th pack-out effort is asked to bring a pack of diapers (size 5 or 6) along with them as a donation to give teens served, in addition to the baskets.

The gathering will be in accordance with CDC guidelines. Masks are required for the entire volunteer shift, temperature checks will be done on arrival, groups will be kept small and the set-up will respect physical distancing.
