Fairfield, CT - The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that its Chamber member, Outdoor Design & Living and Fresh Flower Bar, has scheduled its Ribbon Cutting on March 10th. The official ribbon cutting Ceremony will be officiated by First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick, at 4:30PM.
Spring is right around the corner and Outdoor Design & Living and Fresh Flower Bar, located at 1301 Bronson Road in Fairfield, is kicking off the season with a special Celebration and ribbon cutting.
Outdoor Design & Living’s owner, Chris Palmer, is thrilled to showcase his first-year partnership with Sarah O’Brien’s floral studio, Fresh Flower Bar, as well as his expansive nursery and landscape services. Ever since the two companies began to share the same space in March 2020, both businesses have expanded and want to commemorate the one-year anniversary of their combined offerings and how they have been able to help each other remain resilient and successful.
Outdoor Design & Living (ODL) took over the pre-existing landscape property on Bronson Road three years ago, and O’Brien is now celebrating her one-year anniversary at this location. “Businesses that go together, grow together,” says Palmer. “Fresh Flower Bar is the ideal onsite partner for the services we offer here, and continues our mission to help make your outdoor living space an extension of your home.”
ODL and Fresh Flower Bar share a unique, synergistic “root-to-table” partnership. Palmer and his team plant and grow some of the flowers that O’Brien uses in her instagram-worthy designs, arrangements and workshops.
Launched from the back of a pickup truck 25 years ago, Outdoor Design & Living is now a full-service landscape design-and-build company with a nursery and retail businesses, located on nearly two acres of land in the Greenfield Hill section of Fairfield. “We want you to have fun in your yard,” explains Palmer. “Often, after we install a customer’s patio, outdoor lighting, pool or kitchen, we continue our collaborations offering furniture and shade solutions,” he says. “Our goal is to show you how to fall in love with your whole outdoor area. After all, it is a natural extension of your home and can be another great living space.”
Fresh Flower Bar founder and CEO Sarah O’Brien, noted for her signature hatbox flower arrangements and her popular blog Connecticut in Style, is quickly becoming Fairfield County’s preeminent source for flower arrangements. “I just love having my studio nestled in this location. We share so many of the same customers and even the same vision for beautifying with flowers and plants,” explains O’Brien.
Fresh Flower Bar is located upstairs in the iconic grey-painted barn that most people notice and admire when traveling on Bronson Road. Downstairs in the barn, visitors will find special items and gifts that offer inspiration for both inside and outside of the home.
