Fairfield, CT — ConnectFairfield invites the public to join them on St. Patrick's Day, March 17 at 3:00 PM for a ConnectFairfield Scavenger Hunt Kickoff Celebration at Olive My Stuff, 39 Sanford Street, Fairfield.
The ConnectFairfield Scavenger Hunt community FUN-raiser takes place for two weeks throughout the entire town of Fairfield, CT. The event will start on March 17 and ends on March 31, 2021.
Tickets are $30 per family. Participants will receive a virtual goodie bag via email with more than 50 discounts and promotions from local businesses. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales benefits the St. Baldrick's Foundation in honor of Fairfield's Team Teddy.
The Scavenger Hunt is socially-distanced fun: a combination of trivia and photo & video challenges that test participants’ knowledge about local retailers, restaurants, landmarks and history using the Eventzee phone app.
Over $4,000 in prizes from dozens of local retailers, restaurants and services, including Capri, The Gray Goose, Fairfield Comedy Club and The Pantry, will be awarded to the team with the most points. Additional prizes will be given for specific categories.
Debbi’s goal with the prizes and goody bags is to drive customers back to the local businesses, particularly after such a tough year with Covid challenges.
The Scavenger Hunt is the first of ConnectFairfield’s events. ConnectFairfield mission, “Connecting our Community'', hopes to bring the community at large together to create camaraderie and fun. ConnectFairfield welcomes new and longtime residents to participate in a full array of activities that interest and suit their needs. O’Keefe also just launched The Fairfield Newcomers Club to host events specifically for those that have just moved to the area.
