Fairfield, CT - The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Fairfield offers a program this spring for adults who have always been interested in nature but never had the time or opportunity to study and learn more about it.
This is a beginner’s course, taught outdoors, by educator/naturalist Colleen Noyes whose knowledge and dynamic teaching style makes learning about the natural world both lively and interesting. Sessions meet on Wednesdays, May 12 through June 9, from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants can enroll for the series or register for specific classes of interest. Topics include introductions to birds, geology, amphibians and reptiles, trees and Long Island Sound. The program takes place at Connecticut Audubon’s Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, Fairfield, CT, except for the May 19 session which will meet at Connecticut Audubon’s Coastal Center in Milford, CT.
All proceeds support The Connecticut Audubon Society’s conservation and environmental education programs.
