Fairfield County Children’s Choir Holiday Show, Dec. 5

Fairfield, CT. The Fairfield County Children's Choir (FCCC) celebrates the return to live music with Holidays in Harmony. Our talented children from 19 neighboring towns return to the stage with a festive holiday concert. We welcome our local and far-reaching fans to join us on Sunday, December 5, either from their seat at The Klein Memorial Auditorium or from their couch at home. Tickets are $20, which includes general admission to the in-person concerts and access to the livestream. Purchase your ticket today at theklein.org.

This joyous return to live music includes seasonal favorites from a wide variety of composers. Our children's bright voices will quickly warm hearts and incite the festive spirit with popular seasonal songs like Feliz Navidad. The choir will also sing traditional French carol Angels We Have Heard on High, a famous Chinese folk song Mo Li Hua, and a contemporary Hanukkah song by local teacher Suzanne Sherman Propp.

Music Director & Founder Jon Noyes and conductors Lisa Bettke, Jacqueline Sugrue-Tait, and Ashley Zadravacz

created this concert to showcase our amazing singers who were so committed during the last two unique years and for the music lovers who missed rich, full sounds and harmonies produced when singing together. "We were creative, working within covid distancing restrictions to find a way to adapt our traditional concert format into four smaller concerts. This allows us to have fewer performers on stage and a smaller audience of 300 - 400 at a time that can spread out among the Klein's 1447 seats," said Noyes. "We will miss the magnificence of all 300 choristers on stage at once, but we will be delighted by the intimacy of the individual groups having the stage to themselves for their thirty-minute program."

"Our choirs and fans are excited for the irreplaceable experience of returning to the stage," added Executive Director Sarah Duff. "Holidays in Harmony is a holiday treat for the whole family!"
