New Paradigm Theatre Hosts Hit Holiday Show

Fairfield, CT - New Paradigm Theatre Company (NPT) ushered in the holiday season at the Fairfield Theatre Company’s StageOne with live performances on December 11th and 12th.   NPT’s annual holiday extravaganza featured Broadway and local stars . 

The holiday show was jam-packed with Broadway dancers, singers, instrumentalists, and “Ms Clauz with a Z”© and her elves. This year our stars included, Jamie Karen, Patrick Heffernan, Janelle Robinson, J. Clayton Winters, Dominick Mantuano, Barbara Distinti, Rydell Harrison, Katherine Griffin, Carolyn Savoia and Marion Sherman Howard.  Special introduction by Emmy nominated, Scott Bryce.  Music Directed by Chris Coogan and Directed by Artistic Director, Kristin Huffman.

NPT showcased its theatre arts education mentoring by featuring NPT youth alongside Broadway, Film and TV pros.  For each show, NPT partners with another social justice nonprofit.  This year NPT collected new PJ's and gift cards for the nonprofit "Dillan's Closet" before each show for children who are in the hospital this holiday season.  

New Paradigm Theatre's summer production of Disney's The Little Mermaid will partner with The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk and will feature educational initiatives like "Clean up the Sound" with students from NPT and the Maritime Aquarium. The debris collected will be turned into sets, costumes and props to highlight the issues surrounding the environment.  Registrations and applications for students and auditions for professionals and local adults will be posted in January.
