Norwalk Film Fest This Weekend, Dec. 18 & 19

The 2021 Norwalk Film Festival is happening this weekend, Dec. 18 & 19, in the Historic Wall Street District of Norwalk, with highlights to include:

  • Saturday night, first public screening of the documentary about the legendary musician Jose Feliciano, Behind this Guitar (initially scheduled at SXSW!)
  • Happy Hours!
  • Announcement of the 2021 Standing Ovation Award recipient, Emmy Award-winning Human Rights Filmmaker Oscar Guerra
  • Presentation to Oscar by 2019 Standing Ovation Award recipient, Tony Award-winner and nominee, Norwalk native, Robin de Jesus (now starring in Lin Manual Miranda's newly released film  "tick, tick...boom)
  • Details about NFF's national award-winning lineup of panelists talking about directing, sound, women in film, rising in the industry, acting, financing, mentoring, activism and more
  • Opening night celebration 12/17 at the cool downstairs space at Factory Underground Studios: Light refreshments and jazz by the incomparable jazz duo Atla and Mike - darlings of the CT jazz scene.
