FCCC Returns to the Stage for a Broadway Review, Feb. 12

Fairfield, CT - Broadway's most noteworthy and best-known shows are resuming performances, and so is the Fairfield County Children's Choir (FCCC) with Back to Broadway. We welcome our local and far-reaching fans to join us on Saturday, February 12, either from their seat at The Klein Memorial Auditorium or from their couch at home. Tickets are $20, including general admission to the in-person concerts and access to the livestream. Purchase your ticket today at theklein.org.

The evening concert will feature songs from two favorite contemporary musicals, Mamma Mia and Wicked. The night includes a tribute to Stephen Sondheim's contributions to American music with Somewhere from West Side Story. Don't miss this special night of Broadway selections from our outstanding youth choir, soloists, and the band made up of piano, synth, guitar, bass, and drums. It is sure to be an evening of unforgettable music.

Music Director & Founder Jon Noyes and conductors Lisa Bettke, Jacqueline Sugrue-Tait, and Ashley Zadravecz created this concert to showcase our amazing singers, who remained committed during the last two unique years. "We were creative, working within Covid distancing restrictions to find a way to adapt our traditional concert format into three smaller concerts. This allows us to have fewer performers on stage and a smaller audience of 300 - 400 that can spread out among The Klein's 1447 seats," said Noyes. The program will be repeated three times with a different cast performing the same music.

"Our annual Broadway concert never disappoints! Always an audience favorite," added Executive Director Sarah Duff. "Join us for a night of splendor and musical storytelling."
