Fairfield, CT - CT Audubon's Fairfield location presents a Native Fern Identification Workshop on Thursday, June 15, from 10am - 1:30pm.

Ferns are beautiful and fascinating plants, but can be confusing to identify. Botanist Jim Cortina helps unravel the mysteries in a Fern Identification Workshop at Connecticut Audubon’s Center at Fairfield, Thurs. June 15, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. During this indoor/outdoor class, learn to identify characteristics of ferns while working in pairs to identify fern specimens at hand using supplied books and equipment. After a lunch break, will learn more on a guided walk in the Sanctuary. The Center at Fairfield is located at 2325 Burr St., Fairfield. Cost: CAS Members $20; non-members $25.
