GHS' June 14 Tavern Garden Market to Feature Ceramic Sculpture Artist for Talk

COS COB, CT -- Ceramic sculptor artist Leigh Taylor Mickelson is the featured artist for Greenwich Historical Society's June 14 Morning Market Talk beginning at 9:30am in the Historical Society’s Permanent Gallery. Mickelson will share how her ceramic sculpture is inspired by forms from nature, especially ones found in plant life, as a means of expressing narratives about life. Meet Mickelson, learn about ceramic sculpture and browse her artwork at the Tavern Garden Market immediately following her talk, from 10am – 2pm.

With a fresh focus on holistic living and community connection, the Historical Society’s Tavern Garden Markets feature locally sourced farm-to-table produce, eggs, baked goods, flowers and distinctive, one-of-a-kind accessories and crafts.

Each Tavern Garden Market will feature a guest vendor aligned with the Historical Society’s mission to provide meaningful and enriching experiences to the community.
