Young Concert Artists on Tour at Quick Center, Nov. 3, 8pm

Fairfield, CT - The Quick Center has a long history of presenting some of the most important voices in classical and chamber music in the world. On Friday, November 3 at 8 p.m., The Quick presents its latest special event: the inaugural performance of Young Concert Artists (YCA) on Tour.

YCA on Tour features today’s highly trained musicians and vocalists that will be the Emanuel Ax’s and Jean-Yves Thibaudets of tomorrow. This performance is an incredible opportunity to experience the future stars of classical music and will have you saying, “I heard them when...” The concert features five acclaimed soloists: Chinese violinist Lun Li, Danish cellist Jonathan Swensen, Spanish/Dutch pianist Albert Cano Smit, American tenor Daniel McGrew and American bass-baritone Joseph Parrish performing works by Mendelssohn, Strauss, Schumann and more.

YCA has been focused on supporting and launching the careers of the most talented and sought-after young musicians for more than 60 years, providing them with extensive training and opportunities to take their careers to the highest level. This special program is made possible through the generous support of the Howard and Katherine Aibel Foundation and the Lundberg Family Foundation. In addition, we thank Norman & Celeste LaCroix and Fairfield HamletHub for their support of the evening.
