"Christmas is the season of giving and we encourage our clients, colleagues, and friends to help those in need," said Eric Johnson, COO. "We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys with the Fairfield Police Department to benefit child cancer patients. You can also bring any gifts if you will be attending our Holiday Reception on December 7th where we will have the donation boxes set up as well!"
Johnson added, "Christmas is the season of giving, and this year, we give back to the community that has given so much to us, by working with the Fairfield Police Department in the collection of toys. As the holidays arrive with all of the excitement and anticipation of spending quality time with friends and family, it is sometimes easy to overlook that there are families right here in our community that need assistance and the firm was happy to step in and lend a hand," said Johnson.
Through a social media campaign, emails and website posts, last year's toy drive culminated on December 15th, the night of the firm's Holiday Reception, where guests were encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy. "We really owe the success of our past Toy Drives to our clients, friends and business partners who were generous enough to give back," says Charlie Rocco, President and CEO. "We are excited to be kicking off our third annual toy drive and continuing to give back over the holiday season."
The firm will assist in hand delivering the toys with members of the Fairfield Police Department directly to pediatric cancer patients at St Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport as the holiday approaches.
