Fairfield to Go Purple for Alzheimer's Month June 14

Fairfield, CT - Seventy-eight thousand people in CT are living with Alzheimer's; 178,000 people care for them. Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in this country. It’s "Time to talk about memory loss" and time to take your loved one and those memory concerns to a doctor.

The entire state is going purple, from Bradley to Mohegan Sun to Greenwich!

On FRIDAY, June 14, it's FAIRFIELD's turn, with a proclamation reading & Purple Ribbon cutting at Noon at the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce office, 97 Post Road, Fairfield, conducted by the First Selectman, Chamber and Alzheimer's Association representatives.

More than 30 businesses and organizations are also going purple in Fairfield and restaurants are taking donations. The Fairfield firehouse has a banner up, too!
