Howard Saffan, the owner, developer, and president of the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, will join the Y’s Men of Westport/Weston and The Westport Library on Thursday, August 3, at 7 pm, to provide an insider’s look at the new home of the biggest music shows: The Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater in Bridgeport.
This year has been a big one for the amphitheater, featuring Hall of Fame artists The Beach Boys, The Temptations, Willie Nelson, James Taylor, The Four Tops, Rod Stewart, Jackson Browne, Santana, and many more.
Saffan will tell the story of how he converted a traditional stadium into a world class amphitheater and a desired performance home to the superstars of music. The discussion will include an audience Q&A. Wine and cheese will be served as well.
