New Book Bares Broker's Selling Secrets

A Fairfield County real estate broker has written a new book designed to help homeowners sell their homes - more quickly and more profitably. Titled “My Proven System for Selling Homes Fast for Top Dollar”, the book is the creation of Christine Finch Oleynick, a Weston, CT resident who serves as executive vice president of Old Greenwich-based Chilton & Chadwick, which bills itself as a global real estate concierge. Reflecting her many years of experience in consumer marketing and advertising, as well as residential real estate, Oleynick's is distinctly an insider's view. She grew up in Greenwich and has lived in Westport and Weston and many towns in between.

The book's contents tackle such subjects as what most buyers are looking for in a home; how to answer buyer questions; why price isn't the only reason homes don't sell; avoiding costly mistakes by knowing your home's true value; and how to negotiate better. "The tips I offer have proven effective time and time again," Oleynick says. " I believe my background helps to differentiate me as a highly recommended and trusted real estate professional."

Oleynick's listings have been featured in various media outlets, including Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, Connecticut Post, News 12 Connecticut, Town & Country, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, NBC's Open House and many others. Active in community affairs, she was recently honored as a Women's Business Advocate at Moffly Media's Women of Influence Awards. In addition, she was featured as one of the local women entrepreneurs in Westport magazine and given the Civic Engagement Award from Dress for Success.

She will be hosting a “Successful Selling for Homeowners” on March 27th at Tavern on Main in Westport and April 3rd in Old Greenwich.
