Stamford Dragster Driver Sarah Edwards to Appear on Toymakerz Reality Show

Stamford, CT - Sarah Edwards, the driver of Sarah Edwards Racing, will be heading to Reidsville, North Carolina, to appear on David Ankin's hit reality show, "Toymakerz", premiering in early February on the History Channel and FYI.

"David has become a good friend and mentor for me," Edwards said. "I was extremely lucky to have made a connection with him last season."

The two first met when Edwards was the Queen of Diamonds II Jet Dragster pilot for Al Hanna's Hanna Motorsports team. Their initial meeting happened during the inaugural North American Jet Car Championship last August at Summit Motorsports Park's Night Under Fire in Norwalk, Ohio.

She will be appearing on a Season 3 episode that will air on Sundays beginning in early February. Ankin's company manufactures “unique toys for big boys", specializing in creating "one-off" vehicles from race cars and custom motorcycles to trucks and trikes.

“I can’t give away the details just yet, but I am thrilled to be a part of Toymakerz and David's project," she said. "It’s going to be a great episode!”

An actor and stuntman, Ankin appeared in "The Dog House" and the Batman movie. The Toymakerz CEO is also a former race car driver.

“The little bit that I can tell you is, that together, you bet you will know we are having fun, ‘cause after all, that’s what it’s all about!” Edwards said.
