ACT of Connecticut Announces Conservatory Program, Youth Choir

ACT of Connecticut this Fall

Conservatory Program

Attention middle school and high school students! If you’re interested in theatre, our Fall Conservatory Program is for you! It’s an interdisciplinary weekly program that focuses on vocal performance, acting, audition techniques and movement, all while getting an inside look at the progression of a professional Equity production, from rehearsal through preview and performance; students will get a “backstage pass” to ACT’s production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS to better understand what it takes to produce and present a show at this level. The program begins September 13th. For all of the details and to register, visit actofct.org/conservatory

ACT of Connecticut's Fall Youth Choir

Do you have a young singer at home? Sign them up for the ACT Youth Choir! The Choir is for students in grade 2 - 7 and provides the opportunity to learn proper and healthy singing technique, vocal music reading, and the art of singing in harmony, all while exploring choral repertoire of the highest quality. The Choir will be led by Choral Director Deborah Penn (also the Lower School Music Teacher at Ridgefield Academy). For more information and to register, visit actofct.org/youth-choir.
