Bridgeport, CT - KEYS (Kids Empowered by Your Support), which provides free, in-school music instrument instruction to Bridgeport, CT students, welcomes Bridgeport resident Amy Marshall to the KEYS Board of Directors.
Amy works at Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders as the Development Coordinator. She worked in Connecticut as an educator in various public, private, and diocesan schools for 35 years. Thirty of those years were spent in the Bridgeport Public Schools where Amy was first introduced to KEYS as the Principal of Beardsley School. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Timothy Memorial School in Norwalk and Groundwork in Bridgeport. Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Secondary Education from Denison University, a Master of Arts in Bilingual Special Education and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning, both from Fairfield University. Amy and her husband reside in Bridgeport with one daughter and fiancé living in East Norwalk and another daughter, her husband, and grand-dog living in Baltimore, Maryland. Amy joined the KEYS Board in 2020.
