Meet Fairfield resident Jen Fay, owner of Club Pilates
With the new norm of practicing social distancing, how are you finding creative ways to connect with family and friends?
I own Club Pilates Studio in Fairfield, located in the Sportsplex buildings. We had to close our doors for now but to help our members and all of our community my instructors are posting Facebook Live Free workouts several days a week on our Club Pilates Fairfield Facebook page. People can share them with anyone in the community (and beyond) as a way to stay healthy and strong while social distancing. My lead instructor Liza is also posting healthy recipes and cooking ideas as she is also a nutritionist.
Can you tell us if you or any of your colleagues are doing creative things at home to find joy and inspiration?
Our family's joy is that we happened to get a new puppy a few weeks before all of this so we now have constant entertainment and fun!
If you are a parent, have you found creative ways to engage kids at home?
We have three teenagers and we have engaged them in the preparation and cooking of our evening meals - before, dinner was a rushed event and two kids are usually away at college so it is truly a blessing to be able to eat as a family each night.
