Interview with a local homeowner and new Humming Homes member

This summer, we introduced you to two incredible techpreneurs Adeel Mallick and Kyle Carnes, the founders of Humming Homes, a technology-driven home service platform for home maintenance and improvement.

You also got to know some folks who are responsible for assuring your home is impeccably cared for - the Humming Homes Home Management team - a Home Coordinator, Local Expert, and pre-vetted Vendor Network. 

Today, you’ll hear from Nate, a local homeowner who says, “Having folks come around and look at our home and put [all our projects and home needs] in context, that was really remarkable.” 

Three questions with Nate, a Humming Homes member since 2021.

What was your experience onboarding with Humming Homes?

I felt [the onboarding experience] was very bespoke with plenty of hand-holding, which is really nice. Obviously, you want to interact through your phone as much as you can, but having someone come to the house (during the onboarding) to provide opinions and [take the time to] understand the unique specific challenges of our home was great.

Favorite part (so far) about Humming Homes?

The fact that if there’s a problem, especially when we are away, [Humming Homes is] able to manage [for us] remotely.

What do you want your fellow neighbors to know about Humming Homes? 

Humming Homes can be a really good option for people with elderly parents, being able to help them and give me peace of mind that my parents’ home management is taken care of.
