Bridgeport, CT - Mayor Ganim and the City of Bridgeport present the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at McLevy Green, Tuesday, Nov. 29, 4:00 - 6:30pm.
Master of Ceremonies Star 99.9's Anna Zap from the Anna & Raven Show will be joined by the Bridgeport Islanders Mascot Storm and wonderful local vendors Cinnabomb Mini-Donut Factory, Catamount Food Truck, The Original Vazzy’s, Blissful Awakening Urban Farm, Natural Juices, Twelve Twelve 1981 accessories, TMM Marketing giving out free cell phones, the National Writers Union handing out tambourines, and Recovery Network of Programs sharing great info and resources.
Special holiday performances by the Downtown Cabaret “The Santa Story” cast members, Harding High School's FAME Program Modern Band and Drumline, and The Graham Spratley Gospel Lighthouse Choir Bridgeport Board of Education Students will follow special remarks by Mayor Joseph P. Ganim and honorary guests.
The ceremonial tree lighting closes out the night after a special surprise arrival of Santa and the Elves on a Bridgeport Fire Department fire truck!
