Fairfield County Bank Appoints Luis Lucero Assistant Vice President, Assistant Controller

Fairfield County Bank recently appointed Luis Lucero to Assistant Vice President, Assistant Controller.

Luis joined the Bank in 2016 as an Accounting Specialist, spent time as the Insurance Services Accounting Manager, and most recently held the position of Assistant Vice President, Accounting Manager.

In his new role, Mr. Lucero will assist with the management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting for the Bank. He received his B.A. in accounting from Western Connecticut State University and is a 2019 graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management. “We are very excited for Luis to step into this new role,” said Deborah Hull, Vice President and Controller at Fairfield County Bank. “He is an integral member of our team, and I look forward to seeing his continued growth at Fairfield County Bank.”

Mr. Lucero is passionate about serving his community. He volunteers his time with the Housatonic Community College (HCC) Foundation, serving on the Finance and Investment Committees. The HCC Foundation is committed to ensuring that the college remains an open door for anyone seeking advancement opportunities. He previously volunteered as a tax preparer in the IRS VITA program, which provides free tax preparation assistance to low- and moderate-income taxpayers, seniors, and those that do not speak English as a first language.

Luis currently lives in Norwalk with his wife, Yasmine. They enjoy spending time outdoors with their dog and walking on the beach.
